다이버전스란

다이버전스(divergence)는 가격과 기술적 지표의 움직임 사이에 나타나는 차이를 의미합니다. 일반적으로 가격과 기술적 지표는 함께 움직입니다. 그러나 때로는 가격이 상승하는 추세에 있을 때 기술적 지표가 하락하거나, 가격이 하락하는 추세에 있을 때 기술적 지표가 상승하는 경우가 있습니다. 이러한 상황을 다이버전스라고 합니다. 다이버전스는 매수와 매도 시점을 파악하는 데 도움이 될 수 있습니다. 다이버전스가 발생하면 가격이 변동하는 방향과 기술적 지표의 움직임이 일치하지 않으므로, 이는 현재 추세가 약화되고 새로운 추세가 형성될 가능성이 높다는 신호로 해석할 수 있습니다. 따라서 다이버전스를 활용하여 추세 변화의 타이밍을 파악하고 매수 또는 매도 결정을 내릴 수 있습니다.

 

What is divergence?
A divergence is a difference between the behavior of a price and a technical indicator. Usually, price and technical indicators move in tandem, but sometimes technical indicators fall when price is in an uptrend, or technical indicators rise when price is in a downtrend. This situation is known as divergence. Divergence can help you figure out when to buy and when to sell. When divergence occurs, the direction in which price is moving and the movement of the technical indicator do not match, which can be interpreted as a sign that the current trend is weakening and a new trend is likely to form. Therefore, you can use divergence to identify the timing of a trend change and make a buy or sell decision.
