23. Momentum(보조지표) 활용법

Momentum(모멘텀)은 현재 주가의 상승/하락세가 이어질 가능성이 높은지를 판단하는 보조지표 중 하나입니다. Momentum은 주가 움직임을 기록한 일정 기간 동안의 주가 차이를 계산해 해당 주기의 모멘텀 값을 얻습니다. Momentum 보조지표를 사용하여 주식 가격이 상승하고 있는지 또는 하락하고 있는지를 파악할 수 있습니다. Momentum이 양수인 경우 주식 가격이 상승하고 있으며, 음수인 경우 주식 가격이 하락하고 있습니다. 또한, Momentum이 상승하면 상승세가 강화되고, 하락하면 하락세가 강화되는 경향이 있습니다.

 

모멘텀 기간

기간은 사용자의 목적과 투자 스타일에 따라 다양합니다. 대체로 짧은 기간(예: 10일) 동안의 주가 움직임을 분석하며, 매매 주기가 빠른 스윙 트레이더들이 자주 사용합니다. 반면, 투자 기간이 긴 장기 투자자들은 긴 기간(예: 50일)을 사용하기도 합니다. 따라서 사용자는 자신의 투자 스타일과 목적에 맞는 기간을 선택해야 합니다.

 

모멘텀 매매

Momentum 보조지표를 사용하여 주식 가격이 상승하고 있는지 또는 하락하고 있는지를 파악할 수 있습니다. Momentum이 양수인 경우 주식 가격이 상승하고 있으며, 음수인 경우 주식 가격이 하락하고 있습니다. 또한, Momentum이 상승하면 상승세가 강화되고, 하락하면 하락세가 강화되는 경향이 있습니다. 일반적으로 Momentum 보조지표를 사용하여 매수 시점을 결정하는 전략은 Momentum이 양수인 상태에서 매수하고, 음수인 상태에서는 매도하는 것입니다. 이 전략은 상승 추세에 맞추어 매수하고 하락 추세에서는 매도하여 손실을 최소화하는 것을 목적으로 합니다.

On the other hand, longer timeframes (e.g. 50 days) are sometimes used by long-term investors with longer investment horizons. Momentum trading
