수전사 공법이란?

수전사 공법(Water Transfer Printing, WTP)은 물에 용해되는 필름에 적용된 다양한 패턴이나 무늬를 물체의 표면에 전사시키는 표면처리 기술입니다. 이 공법은 수중에서 필름이 용해되면서 물체에 패턴을 고르게 입혀주는 원리로 작동합니다.

수전사 공법의 절차는 다음과 같습니다.
1. 패턴이 인쇄된 필름을 물에 띄웁니다. 이때, 필름의 위치와 물의 온도를 정확하게 조절해야 합니다.
2. 필름이 물에 띄워진 후, 활성제를 분무하여 필름을 용해시킵니다. 이 과정에서 패턴이 물의 표면에 고르게 펼쳐집니다.
3. 물체를 물 속으로 천천히 집어넣습니다. 이때, 물체의 모양과 크기에 맞춰 필름을 물체에 접착시킵니다.
4. 물체를 물에서 꺼내고, 남아있는 활성제와 물을 제거합니다.
5. 물체가 완전히 건조된 후, 투명도를 높이기 위해 클리어 코팅을 적용합니다.

수전사 공법은 자동차 부품, 가전제품, 스포츠용품, 전자제품 등 다양한 산업 분야에서 사용되며, 금속, 플라스틱, 유리, 세라믹 등 다양한 재질의 물체에 적용할 수 있습니다. 이 기술은 물체의 표면에 정교한 패턴을 입히고, 높은 품질의 마감을 제공하는데 도움이 됩니다.

The procedure for water transfer is as follows.
1. Float the patterned film in water. The position of the film and the temperature of the water must be precisely controlled.
2. After the film is suspended in water, an activator is sprayed to dissolve the film. This process spreads the pattern evenly over the surface of the water.
3. Slowly lower the object into the water, adhering the film to the object according to its shape and size.
4. Remove the object from the water, and remove any remaining activator and water.
5. After the object is completely dry, a clear coat is applied to increase transparency.

Water transfer is used in a variety of industries, including automotive parts, appliances, sporting goods, and electronics, and can be applied to objects made of a variety of materials, including metal, plastic, glass, and ceramic. This technique helps to create intricate patterns on an object's surface and provides a high-quality finish.
