지지선과 저항선은 가격의 움직임을 예측하는 데 사용되는 개념입니다.

 

1. 개념

지지선(Support)은 가격이 하락하다가 멈추는 지점을 말합니다. 즉, 해당 가격 이하로 떨어지면 그보다 더 낮아지기 어려운 경계선이라고 생각할 수 있습니다. 주가가 지지선을 깨면 그보다 더 하락할 가능성이 높아지고, 지지선을 유지하면 그만큼 상승할 가능성이 높아집니다.

 

저항선(Resistance)은 주가가 상승하다가 멈추는 지점을 말합니다. 해당 가격 이상으로 올라가기 어려운 경계선이라고 생각할 수 있습니다. 주가가 저항선을 돌파하면 그 이상 상승할 가능성이 높아지고, 저항선을 유지하면 그만큼 하락할 가능성이 높아집니다.

 

따라서 차트 분석에서는 지지선과 저항선을 기준으로 주가의 추세를 파악하여 매수와 매도의 타이밍을 결정하는데 활용될 수 있습니다.

 

2. 지지선과 저항선을 그리는 기준

보통 지지선과 저항선은 과거 주가 움직임의 극점을 기준으로 그립니다. 이전에 주가가 하락세에서 상승세로 전환하는 지점을 "지지선"으로, 상승세에서 하락세로 전환하는 지점을 "저항선"으로 지정하며, 해당 지점에서 다시 반대 방향으로 전환될 가능성이 높아집니다. 따라서, 과거의 차트를 분석하면서 그 구간에서 지지선과 저항선을 긋게 되는데, 보통 가격이 수평적으로 움직이는 구간에서 많이 그려집니다.

 

3. 매물대로 보는 지지선과 저항선

지지선은 매물대가 형성되어 있는 지역에서 가격이 하락하다가 멈추고 다시 상승하는 지점을 나타냅니다. 이 지점은 매물대로 인해 매도 주문이 적어지고 매수 주문이 늘어남으로써 지지력을 얻게 됩니다.

반대로, 저항선은 매물대가 형성되어 있는 지역에서 가격이 상승하다가 멈추고 다시 하락하는 지점을 나타냅니다. 이 지점은 매물대로 인해 매수 주문이 적어지고 매도 주문이 늘어남으로써 저항력을 얻게 됩니다.

따라서, 매물대로 보는 지지선과 저항선은 상승추세에서는 지지선이 저항선보다 더 중요하게 작용하고, 하락추세에서는 저항선이 지지선보다 더 중요하게 작용합니다.

2. Criteria for drawing support and resistance levels
Support and resistance levels are usually drawn based on the extremes of past price movements. Points where a stock has previously turned from a downtrend to an uptrend are designated as "support" and points where a stock has turned from an uptrend to a downtrend are designated as "resistance", and it is at these points that the likelihood of the stock moving in the opposite direction increases. Therefore, when analyzing historical charts, support and resistance lines are drawn at these points, which are usually found in horizontal price movements.

3. Support and resistance levels as selling zones
A support line represents the point where the price drops, stops, and rises again in the area of the selling zone. These points are supported by fewer sell orders and more buy orders due to the presence of a sell zone.
Conversely, a resistance level represents the point at which the price rises, stops, and then falls back down in an area where there is a sell zone. This point gains resistance as fewer buy orders are placed and more sell orders are placed because of the sell zone.
Therefore, in an uptrend, support is more important than resistance, and in a downtrend, resistance is more important than support.
