철근이란

철근은 건축물의 구조물 중 하나로서 콘크리트를 강화하고 보강하기 위해 사용되는 철로 만들어진 강철바입니다. 철근은 콘크리트 구조물 내부에 삽입되어 구조물 전체를 강화하는 역할을 하며, 콘크리트 구조물의 강도와 내구성을 향상시킵니다.

철근은 다양한 크기와 형태로 제작됩니다. 보통 직경 6mm에서 50mm까지 다양한 직경으로 생산되며, 길이는 일반적으로 6m, 9m 등으로 제작됩니다. 또한, 철근은 일자형 철근, 골판지형 철근, 둥근형 철근 등 다양한 형태가 있습니다.

철근은 콘크리트 구조물에 삽입되기 전에 미리 제작되어야 합니다. 이러한 과정에서 철근에는 주로 고정탄소강, 열간압연강 등의 고강도 강재가 사용됩니다. 이렇게 제작된 철근은 콘크리트 구조물의 형태에 맞추어 잘라내어 삽입되며, 철근 내부와 콘크리트가 화학적으로 반응하면서 강한 결합력을 형성합니다.

철근은 콘크리트 구조물의 내구성과 안정성을 향상시키는데 중요한 역할을 합니다. 따라서, 건축물의 구조물에서 필수적인 재료 중 하나입니다.
